Build a home where you want to be in, not a home you want to escape from. After a long day of work, or back from errands, I always open the door of my house and feel pleased to be back. Home is our safe space. You are probably reading this and thinking this is obvious. However there have been moments in life where the mind is so filled with negative thoughts, that we think home is definitely not the place you want to be in. The easier is to escape, versus working on making it a better place. So... where do we start?

✓ Put some order in the house. A cluttered space can make you feel stressed. Get rid of things that you no longer need or use, organize your belongings, make your bed.
✓ Open up the curtains, let the light invade your space! Natural light will boost your mood and energy levels. If the day is grey, use warm lighting.
✓ Make your home feel warm, inviting and cozy. Organise your living space in a way you feel happy to chill all day.
✓ Keep it clean. Dedicate time every day to tidy your space, don’t let the mess come back.
✓Play energizing music. Youtube and Spotify have countless Happy, Positive, Uplifting and Happy chill playlist.
Keep in mind, home should be a place where you rest, recharge, feel safe. Don’t let the negative energies sneak in again! Positive vibes at home are crucial for the overall wellbeing.
