How to? Make a Simple & Achievable Vision Board

You don’t need to invest money to create a vision board. Find a calm place at your home, take a piece of paper, notebook or post its, a pen, and start writing down your wishes & aspirations.

The exercise of reflecting, writing down and visualizing your goals is more engaging in my opinion than sitting behind a computer. Print the picture below. In case you’re out of inspiration, take an old magazine and cut out the images that you like the most. Check Pinterest & Google.

Focus on the 4 pillars here:

checklist

  • Goals - Close your eyes and imagine your future life. Where do you see yourself? how do you feel? where are you? who is with you? Create the story inside your head.

  • Things to Try – Make a list of all those things you said one day you’d do it. Start building your bucket list.

  • Organise – Define a list of 5 simple and achievable goals to perform in less than 1 year.

  • Actions – How to set in motion this list, what will help you achieve your goals?

My personal advice, start small, be vulnerable and be honest to yourself. Nobody is judging.

Keep it for you at the beginning, I believe sometimes that sharing too much information can jinx your plan. That’s what we say in my home country! Write it on post-its and stick those somewhere in your house, a wall, a desk, a glass door, the fridge door… I had a lot of fun building it and visualizing mine.

Set yourself an alarm every 2 weeks as a reminder of not forgetting those 5 simple & achievable goals! Create a screen saver for your phone. I promise, once you’ll complete the first one on your list, you’ll have the feeling you won a championship!

Wishing you ALL THE BEST to build your own vision board and if at some point you’re ready to share your outcome, let me know, happy to chat!
